Pot Limit Omaha

Pot Limit Omaha is, for my money, the most exciting variant of poker that's spread with any regularity. Unfortunately, too many players who might otherwise evolve into strong players give up on this game after a few disastrous outings.
They get a few sets snapped by running flush draws, or get a half-dozen big hands shoved up their backsides by some yahoo holding random crap in the blinds, and quickly come to the conclusion that Omaha is nothing more than poker's answer to pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey-with the serious, careful players assuming the role of the donkey.
Now, I'll be the first to admit that Pot Limit Omaha is a game that generally features some terrific bad beats. But if you take the time to study the game, and model your game on a winning approach, you'll quickly discover that there's one hell of a lot of money to be made in this game.
While most Hold'em games today usually have at least four or five guys at the table who play at a relatively sophisticated level, you can still find all kinds of Pot Limit Omaha games where almost nobody at the table has any real idea what they're doing. When it comes to making money - big money - at the poker table, I'll take the typical PLO table over a No Limit Hold'em table (assuming corresponding blinds) any day of the week.
